Lisa Stephens

Lisa was born in Vancouver, B.C., but has been calling Calgary home since the age of five. A passion for pets was passed down from Lisa's family of animal lovers. Lisa's first solo dog walking expedition was at the tender age of three, when she was asked to go and play with the family Beagle, Mitsy. Found on a golf course more than a mile from home happily walking her four-legged friend, Lisa was not concerned, but her parents certainly were worried. Her love of dog walking continues to this day – Lisa often snags her brother's Border Collie, Matira, to go for long walks and to play extended games of Frisbee.

As her Dad is allergic to cats, Lisa's affection for felines came later in life. At university a roommate's cat, Lucy, adopted Lisa as her primary care giver and Lisa has never looked back since. Cats tend to appreciate her quiet and calm nature.

Lisa's family has raised three West Highland White Terriers since she was five years old. Her most recent dog, Kelsey, sadly passed away just prior to Christmas 2008. The resulting absence of pitter-pattering of little paws around the house has created a vacuum of missed puppy love in her life. Lisa looks forward to caring for and lavishing love on your pets while you are out of town.
