Angie Bailey

Having grown up on a farm in rural Ontario, Angie has been involved with animals all her life. Angie's childhood pets included cats, dogs, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, bunnies and at one point baby skunks! Farm life was always an adventure and there was always a furry friend to share it with. Once Angie became old enough to begin taking care of animals herself the farm became more of a sanctuary for senior and stray dogs or sick horses. She and her family took in many animals over the years and tried to give them the best life possible.

It was no surprise then, that when Angie left Ontario and moved to Calgary she began working at the Humane Society. Her years at the Humane Society were some of the most rewarding and heartbreaking years of her life. She was able to further her dog training skills and obtained her Animal Welfare Certification through Thompson Rivers University. When Angie decided to leave the Humane Society it was a hard decision for her but this created a great opportunity for her to begin working with Love Your Pet. Since then she has been nourishing her love for animals through walking dogs and petsitting.

Fortunately Calgary is the best city for this type of business. Full of devoted and loving pet owners and tons of beautiful parks to enjoy, Angie has made Calgary home, along with her three very charismatic cats (of course adopted from the Humane Society).
With her experience and genuine adoration for animals, there is no better place for Angie to be then with the Love Your Pet family.
