Lori was born in Montreal but moved to the city of Toronto when she was thirteen. Throughout her childhood, she had many pets ranging from dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, chameleons, fish, snakes and chinchillas! After graduating with a Fish and Wildlife diploma Lori moved to Calgary with her fiance Jon and began working for the Calgary Humane Society. Not only learning about animal behaviour while working there, she also worked and received her Animal Welfare Certificate. Lori loves animals and has rescued numerous ones over the years. To date, Lori and Jon have four Chinese Shar-Peis; a Chihuahua; a cat; an African Grey Congo; a Jenday Conure; Chinchillas, a snake and a fish to top things up — it's a full but very happy home! Since the Calgary Humane Society she's been employed with Love Your Pet, loving the pack that has bonded to her over the last couple of months. Every day is a wonderful experience and Lori can't get enough! |
